9:00 am - 12:45 pm

Organisational change is inevitable and is often essential to ensure reinvigorated service delivery and to achieve value for money efficiencies. This interactive workshop is aimed at housing associations and looks at how to manage organisational change effectively, including liaising with interested parties and ensuring proper governance procedures are followed.

What is it about?
We have seen significant reputational damage to a number of housing associations when organisational change, including senior departures and business restructuring, is not handled well.

The purpose of this seminar is to equip delegates, using our sector expertise and knowledge, to manage these changes well. This seminar, which will be focused on employment, regulatory and charity law expectations, will look at restructuring, redundancies, necessary payouts when saying goodbye, and the importance of good investigations. We will also look at “hot topics” in the employment law sphere, including the implications of upcoming IR35 changes and the recent expansion of the whistleblowing definitions.

Why should you attend?
This event will provide practical, sector-specific advice and guidance for chief executives, company secretaries and HR directors on the issues facing housing associations.  We will cover the following topics:

  • Restructuring, payouts and potential dismissals
  • Fair and comprehensive investigations
  • Good governance, charity law and regulatory considerations when considering dismissals and restructuring
  • Upcoming IR35 changes and the implications for the sector
  • Whistleblowing in the sector

Please be aware that places for this seminar are limited. Our clients get priority over non-clients, but we will endeavour to increase capacity where we can to allow all those who wish to attend a place. Where we are heavily oversubscribed, we will limit places to one or two people per organisation, in which case you may be asked to liaise with your team. Should we have to do any of the above, we will be in touch with you at least two weeks before the event date.
