Senior associate in the governance, funding and corporate team

Catherine specialises in advising housing associations on governance, corporate and regulatory matters in the differing English and Welsh contexts. Catherine advises RP and RSL boards on a range of corporate and constitutional governance matters. These include, but are not limited to, group structures, rule amendments, mergers, group rationalisations, conversions, incorporating organisations, advising on compliance with constitutional and statutory obligations, vires, charity and regulatory requirements (including interaction with the regulators in England and Wales).

Catherine was one of the authors who contributed to the Handbook of Co-operative and Community Benefit Society Law published in 2015 edited by Ian Snaith. She also regularly writes articles for Welsh Housing Quarterly and Inside Housing.

Catherine was also named Leading Associate in the Legal 500; 2025 and 2026 editions and Associate to Watch in the Chambers 2025 edition.
