My role

I assist clients with various data protection and privacy matters. This includes advising on direct marketing, privacy-invasive technologies, GDPR preparation, security breaches, surveillance and monitoring, subject access requests, data sharing and data transfers (including international transfers), as well as drafting and reviewing related policies and contracts. I also deliver training to clients about data-protection compliance.

My experience

I qualified as an ‘Avukat’ in Malta in 2013, where I spent six years (three years as a qualified lawyer) working in a local law firm with broad international links. I worked for clients in a number of sectors, namely iGaming, online payment services, energy-saving solutions, advertising and sports installations, helping them with both contentious and transactional commercial work. I am currently in the process of cross-qualifying as a solicitor of England and Wales.
