Amy has over ten years’ experience in development property transactional work for a range of public bodies, registered providers and charities, primarily dealing with residential and commercial development.
Her focus is on the acquisition of affordable housing units and development land. This typically involves the acquisition, sale or lease of development land or dwellings (including Section 106 affordable housing units) on a conditional or unconditional basis. She supports clients with a variety of turnkey and golden brick deals for affordable housing units and development land acquisitions. Amy also advises on pitfalls and solutions for securing new build housing stock. She recently joined the building safety group at AC, concentrating on what the Building Safety Act 2022 means for new builds.
Amy’s primary aim is to walk alongside clients through the process and to help them secure the best contractual position with the bigger picture in mind, making a positive impact on future communities.
