Gemma first joined Anthony Collins Solicitors as a trainee, qualifying into our housing corporate services and funding team. While working predominantly in the social housing sector, Gemma also advises community bodies, charities and other not-for-profit businesses on corporate and governance issues, focussing on large-scale projects. She is one of the lawyers of choice for a number of our key housing clients, and she is widely respected both within and outside the firm for her talent and commitment.
Anna has been a member of the employment and pensions team since 2008 supporting mainly our Health and Social Care Sector. While Anna’s technical discipline is as an employment lawyer, she has developed much wider client relationships to become a strategic advisor to many of our clients facing austerity cuts where they need to redesign how they deliver their services. Anna’s promotion will involve her taking an even greater role in developing our services in the Health and Social Care Sector.
Senior partner, Peter Hubbard, said: “I am very pleased the firm is recognising Gemma and Anna for their hard work across our charities, social business and housing sectors. At Anthony Collins Solicitors we are proud of the development opportunities open to our staff, and by recognising the outstanding legal talent within the firm we can continue to develop our client offering and pursue our social purpose. These and all promotions within the firm are well-deserved.”
