Anthony Collins Solicitors has supported Birmingham-based Complete Care Holdings in its acquisition of Amegreen Complex Homecare Ltd.
The acquisition will enable Complete Care, which is headquartered at Birmingham Business Park, to expand its geographical reach – adding homecare services in the home counties and London. Complete Care currently operates in the Midlands, North West and Wales.
The combined business provides complex homecare services to adults and children with long-term spinal and acquired brain injuries, as well as respiratory and other neurological conditions.
This latest deal marks the fifth acquisition by MC Care Holdings which operates Complete Care as a fully owned subsidiary and is backed by investment firm Apposite Capital.
Complete Care was advised by Anthony Collins Solicitors’ corporate transactions team, led by senior associate, Adrian Leonard, out of its Birmingham office.
Adrian Leonard, senior associate at Anthony Collins Solicitors, said:
“Complete Care’s latest acquisition will enable more people with serious injuries to access its homecare services. This is a key step in achieving the company’s long-term aim of expanding nationally.
“The acquisition showcases Anthony Collins Solicitors’ expertise within social care and corporate transactions – bringing together two providers in a landmark deal for the sector.”
Jonathan Vellacott, CEO of MC Care Holdings commented:
“I am delighted to have completed the acquisition of Amegreen Complex Homecare, the fifth acquisition by MC Care Holdings. It further underpins our position as one of the largest UK providers of nurse-led complex care at home, in partnership with Clinical Commissioning Groups and the individuals we care for.”
MC Care Holdings consists of Complete Care Holdings Ltd, Noble and MiHomecare.
