Of course this year is very different with organisations having to apply rent decreases for social housing tenants (even though we are still waiting for the Welfare Reform and Work Bill to be finalised and new Regulatory guidance to be published). However letters will have to be sent to residents, and there may be some legal requirements (e.g. sending of Form 4’s which have replaced Form 4Bs) depending on the service charges you operate and any overall increases to tenants: unfortunately the position is not as straightforward as you would perhaps anticipate.
