My role

I am a specialist housing litigation solicitor with over 12 years' experience. I deal with a broad range of areas including anti-social behaviour injunctions, possession, subletting, rent, disrepair, homelessness, judicial review and general advice matters. This includes providing a telephone helpline service for clients, providing written legal advice, issuing court proceedings, drafting legal documents and undertaking advocacy.

My experience

I commenced my career as a housing litigator in private practice where I successfully acted for local authorities, registered providers and private landlords. Subsequently, I spent 10 years in the public sector where I worked in-house as a housing solicitor in the legal departments of the Peabody Trust, Camden Legal Services and Birmingham City Council.

My specialisms

  • Possession and injunction proceedings for both local authorities and registered providers
  • Defending disrepair proceedings
  • Homelessness and judicial review cases
