The specialist law firm has climbed the rankings for a 6th year running, having won 10 more large charity clients. This takes the total number to 129 and, as a result, the firm continued its rise up the rankings, reaching its highest position of 4th.
With a purpose to improve communities, lives and society, ACS advises, supports and works with individuals and organisations in the key sectors of: Charities, Social Housing, Local Government, Education, Social Business, Health and Social Care, Critical Events and Life-Stage Planning.
Shivaji Shiva, senior associate at ACS, said: “We are pleased to take another step up the rankings. It reflects the team’s commitment to helping charities deliver critical services in these challenging times.
The past year has seen a remarkably hostile environment for charities. Intense public scrutiny of charity governance and fundraising has added an additional layer of uncertainty to the already complex legal and regulatory issues that charities face. The resulting challenges served to strengthen our relationships with longstanding clients. We are also delighted to have won instructions from new charity clients across our specialist areas.
Moving up the rankings is always a boost to the team and we are glad to cement our position as a top legal advisor to charities.”
CharityFinancials is the leading provider of financial information for UK charities and non-for-profit organisations, and publishes a wide range of directories and data services, such as the Top 3,000 Charities that includes the top legal advisors list.
