Hopefuls Matthew Roach, Natalie Moustache and Stefanie Zandy will be awaiting the announcements at the annual event on Thursday March 19, at the International Convention Centre, Birmingham.
Whilst Matthew is shortlisted for Chartered Legal Executive of the Year, the judges have pitched Natalie and Stefanie against each other for Paralegal of the Year.
Matthew Roach, 37, is a late entrant to the legal profession. He originally followed his father into the motor trade, but an interest in the law lead to him studying part-time to achieve a law degree with the Open University.
He qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in October last year and currently provides technical supervision to a growing team handling high-volume transactional work for housing associations.
Stefanie Zandy joined ACS in August 2013 as a paralegal in the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence department. Stefanie secured a training contract with ACS in September 2014 and is coming to the end of her first, six-month seat in Housing Management and will be moving to ACS’s Governance and Commercial department in March for her second seat.
Natalie Moustache also joined ACS in August 2013, starting as a paralegal in Corporate Litigation. She began her training contract in September 2014 and has completed her first six-month seat in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. She will be moving to take a seat in Property in March.
ACS senior partner Peter Hubbard said: “Any law firm is only as good as the support team behind the partners who are the public face of the business.
“To have three of our team nominated this year is testimony to the quality of the staff we recruit and we are very proud of all three who have been shortlisted.”
Anthony Collins Solicitors has a proud track record of success at Birmingham Law Society’s Legal Awards. In 2014 founder Anthony Collins was presented with the Lifetime Achiever Award and in 2012 Rankeshwar Batta was named Partner of the Year.
