The Charities Act 2022 recently received royal assent and it is envisaged that the new provisions in the Act will be brought into effect over the next 18 months (the Charity Commission has said to expect full implementation by autumn 2023).
This live interactive session will look at the key changes being brought about by the Act, their impact on how charities are governed and explore practical examples showing how the changes will apply.
In particular, we will cover:
- How different charities will be able to amend their governing documents,
- The new powers granted to trustees,
- The new Charity Commission powers, and
- The new rules about charity land.
