These increases, which would have come into effect sometime in May, would see the fees increase to the following:
The Ministry of Justice has said that there is not enough time for the legislation to go through before Parliament breaks for the general election campaign.
While this is welcome news, these increases may be reviewed again in due course. If you are dealing with an estate and have yet to apply for the probate grant, we suggest you do not delay.
