Our ebriefing, dated 7 March and available here, gave an indication of the changes in the new forms. There is no need to move immediately to the NEC4, and the third-edition is still fully supported by us and the authors. There are, however, good procedural improvements in the new forms, which are worth considering.
Ross Hayes is a member of our construction team and was part of the NEC drafting team that developed the new contracts. He has also developed a number of the training materials on NEC4 for Thomas Telford, the publishers of these contracts.
