Partner and head of housing litigation and management team (Manchester)
Partner and head of housing litigation and management team in Manchester. My role is to lead, develop and grow a team based in Manchester who will be able to satisfy client demand in the North and North West for housing management and housing litigation.
I have a strong background in contentious matters, being over 20 years qualified and previously holding positions of partner and head of housing litigation at two international law firms. I provide honest, effective and commercial advice to clients and have run a number of high profile cases including one at the Court of Appeal. I was the first solicitor in Lancashire to be awarded a Police Commendation for my work resolving anti-social behaviour (ASB) in the Preston area.
A recent High Court case on costs could prove essential reading for clients who have cases in the magistrates' courts.
The snappily named Assured Tenancies and Agricultural Occupancies (Forms) (moratorium Debt) (Consequential Amendment) (England) Regulations came into force on Monday 3 May 2021.
