Trainee solicitor in the governance, funding and corporate team
My role
I’m a second-year trainee solicitor in the governance, funding and corporate team, assisting senior members of the team to advise on a range of issues including the formation of a not-for-profit organisation, incorporations, mergers and restructures, governance and constitutional issues, interactions with regulators in England and Wales, director/trustee duties and responsibilities.
My experience
Prior to commencing my training contract with Anthony Collins Solicitors, I have worked primarily in family law representing a range of clients in both public and private family law matters. I spent three years working within the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (Cafcass), and have also had experience working as a childcare legal assistant with a local authority based in the West Midlands.
I have an LLB in Law from Coventry University and an LPC LLM from the University of Law, Birmingham.
