Digby is a partner in the property team with extensive experience of the affordable housing and local government sectors built over 20 years in practice. He advises clients within these sectors on all aspects of real estate, specialising principally in affordable housing development and stock rationalisation. He works closely with registered providers, councils and similar organisations to expand and manage their portfolios.
Digby advises on the acquisition and disposal of housing stock, through land-led, section 106 and golden brick deals, and tenanted stock sales, purchases and swaps.
Digby also advises local authorities on development and regeneration schemes, drawing on his time as the principal lawyer at a local authority. He has acted for local authorities on many high profile projects, including multi-million pound regeneration schemes, and the Commonwealth Games stadium legacy projects.
Digby leads large multi-disciplinary teams to deliver the best advice and outcomes for clients.
