Trainee solicitor in the personal planning and management team
I am currently based in our personal planning and management team and I assist clients and professional deputies on cases involving the Court of Protection. I am also involved with estate administration, and the preparation of lasting powers of attorney, wills and trusts.
I joined Anthony Collins Solicitors in 2018, as part of our construction team. I assisted clients on a variety of matters, including the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts as well as supporting clients with litigation over building defects.
I have an LLB in Law from the University of Birmingham, and completed my legal practice course at the University of Law, Birmingham.

Under most construction contracts, the contractor takes on the ground conditions risk. However, a recent case has demonstrated that the risk can fall on the employer.
A recent case has confirmed that a professional appointment for construction will usually be a “construction contract” under the Construction Act.
