Anthony Collins photography competition

Anthony Collins is a social purpose law firm with the core purpose of ‘improving lives, communities and society’. Having achieved B Corp status in November 2022, we have recently embarked on a refurbishment of our office space and are looking for some new photography to hang in our reception area that really captures who we are.

  • Prizes - Total Prize Money £350 (Camera World Vouchers 1st £200, 2nd £100, 3rd £50)

The winning entries will be printed, framed, and displayed in the Anthony Collins office.

Entries

The theme of the competition is ‘a stronger more connected society’.  Inspired by our passion for improving lives, communities and society.

Each entrant may enter up to a maximum of three images.

Entries must be in digital format only – no prints or slides will be accepted.

Entries must be JPEG files with a minimum resolution of 300dpi and a maximum file size of 10MB.

How to enter

Photographs are to be submitted by email to info@anthonycollins.com

Subject headline of email – Anthony Collins Photo Competition 2024.

Please send your entry as a separate attachment and not in the body of the email.

Digital files should include the title of the image and photographer’s name e.g. whitecliffs_PeterSmith.jpg

Include your name, address, telephone number, email address, and a brief description of the image in the email.

Entry deadline is 11.59pm Tuesday 30 April 2024.

Shortlisted and winning entries

We will choose the shortlisted images and overall winners.

Winners will be notified via e-mail as soon as possible after the competition closes.

Winners’ names will be published on our website, and winners may be required to participate in publicity.

Terms and conditions

Entry to the competition is acceptance of the following terms and conditions, so please read them carefully.
Entry to the competition is free and open to all, except employees of Anthony Collins and their families.
Entries must be free from text and photographer’s watermark.
All photographs submitted must be the work of the individual who submits them.
Entrants must ensure that photographs have been taken with the permission of the subject (where necessary) and do not infringe the copyright of any third party.
No photograph to be obscene, defamatory or in breach of any applicable legislation or regulations. If Anthony Collins has reason to believe your entry is not your own work or otherwise breaches this rule, your entry will NOT be considered.
No image that has previously won an award in any photographic competition or an image that has been paid for in any publication may be entered into this competition.
Copyright of all entries remains with the photographer, but Anthony Collins reserves the right to use, publish and republish without payment.
By entering this competition, you grant permission to Anthony Collins to reproduce your photograph in electronic format, hard copy, and social media.
While no fees will be payable for any of the above uses, photographs will be credited if an image is used.
All entries are sent at the photographer’s risk. Anthony Collins regret they cannot accept liability for any loss or damage of any images entered in the competition (howsoever caused), nor for any other loss or damage resulting therefrom.
The organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into concerning the competition’s judges and organisation.

All prizes are non-transferable.
