In this second of our series of webinars on IT procurement, we explore the use of framework agreements as commercial purchasing tools for IT requirements under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. This will include guidance to contracting authorities on navigating the UK framework agreement market, the key issues to address when considering whether to procure through a framework agreement and the legal and commercial risks peculiar to IT solutions. We will also cover the recent Consultant Connect Limited v NHS Bath ICB and others case which is particularly relevant to the use of framework agreements and highlight the proposals on frameworks in the Procurement Bill.
