Associate in the governance, funding and corporate team
My role
My role includes advising local, national and international charities on all aspects of charity law, with a particular focus on governance, structural and contractual matters, including charity formation and regulation, trading and subsidiaries, as well as funding and grant agreements, collaborations, group structures, charity mergers and re-organisations. I also liaise with the Charity Commission on behalf of clients on regulatory and compliance issues.
My experience
I have been at Anthony Collins Solicitors for over 10 years, working in the charities team, supporting clients on a range of concerns and issues. I have a good understanding of how the Charity Commission works and what clients need to do to stay compliant. I also support my colleagues and clients in other sectors, advising on governance arrangements for trust schools and academies.
