Amy Callahan-Page

Senior associate

Senior associate in the projects department

My role

I am a senior associate specialising in public procurement and construction disputes and investigatory work across sectors including local government, housing associations, health and social care and charities.

I look to adopt a commercial approach, balancing my client’s objectives and the risks involved to advise on pragmatic and strategic options, and achieve cost-effective outcomes.

My experience

I regularly advise and represent clients in both bringing and defending procurement challenges as well as advising on wider difficulties, areas of risks and concerns that arise during public procurement processes such as abnormally low tenders and exclusion of bids. I continue to support and assist clients with contract management concerns and procurement issues post contract award, including modification.

In addition, I advise and act in a wide range of construction disputes, including those arising from defective works, fire safety concerns, payment mechanisms, professional negligence. My experience enables me to provide holistic advice to clients on their options and next steps in the face of contractor insolvency, including termination and re-procurement.

I have wider experience in managing and resolving general commercial and contractual disputes, and complex debt recovery. This experience, combined with the fact that I act for clients in both bringing and defending claims, means that I bring a holistic and commercial view to my role and advice.

My experience in resolving disputes includes the use of mediation, adjudication and litigation.
