Webinar: Safeguarding in the community: Delivering day-to-day

In this third and final session of our safeguarding webinar series, we will explore scenarios commonly faced by housing and care providers in the community, including hoarding, self-neglect, third-party abuse and cuckooing. We’ll discuss how to manage these situations in a way that promotes safety and well-being while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

Drawing on the expertise of our regulatory, Court of Protection, housing litigation, and governance teams, we will consider topics including the expectations of key regulators such as the CQC and the Regulator of Social Housing; how to balance the needs of individuals with those of the wider community; who to approach when you have concerns about an individual and what steps to take if you feel your concerns are not being heard.

This session is designed to provide practical guidance and support informed decision-making in complex safeguarding contexts.
