Fit for the future: sick pay reform, workforce risk and the new ERA 2025 landscape
Join us for our yearly employment health and social care webinar. This year our session will cover the following:
- The new April changes and their ramifications, and the nuances and intricacies of issues such as SSP entitlement for zero-hour workers, keeping accurate records and understanding linked periods.
- General issues in managing sickness absence, whether that be reocurring short-term absences or long-term sickness issues.
As ever, the session will be informative and practical with sector-specific worked examples to unpack the trickier issues. In addition, for providers concerned about the impact of the reduction of the unfair dismissal qualification period, the team will be discussing the implications and the measures we are advising providers to take in preparation for commencement on 1 January 2027.
