This year, we’ve been recognised by Legal 500 as the most highly recommended firm in the West Midlands in its regional Net Promoter Score (NPS) rankings. Although our client base is spread nationwide, it’s a fantastic achievement to have our main Birmingham office acknowledged as a leader in the region.
We’re proud to say that we’re no strangers to Legal 500 and have a number of our team appear in the annual rankings, but what does it mean to be part of Legal 500 and how does this score link to our firm’s social purpose values?
How is the Legal 500 NPS calculated?
The Legal 500 NPS scores are calculated using a Client Satisfaction survey sent out to 200,000 participants. The survey data is then used to determine an NPS for each firm.
As part of the survey, the participants are asked: “On a scale of 0-10, how likely are you to recommend this firm?”. Once the responses are in, the scores are used to establish an NPS – a widely used client service metric that assesses customer satisfaction. This can then be used as a benchmark for each firm's performance. To qualify for rankings, firms need at least 150 responses and a pre-existing individual Legal 500 ranking within the team.
Why are Legal 500 rankings important for firms?
The legal market is competitive, so high-ranking third-party recognition, like Legal 500, is always a fantastic accolade for the firm.
Anthony Collins being rated as the most highly recommended legal firm in the West Midlands through the NPS survey shows just how much our clients trust us and value our advocacy. We have a longstanding commitment to improving lives, communities and society, and we work tirelessly to get the best results for our clients. Ranking number one in the region reflects our dedication to social purpose and developing and maintaining strong relationships.
How will the survey data be used moving forward?
Surveys such as the Legal 500 NPS are extremely useful for our firm and help shape the service Anthony Collins offers in the future.
We are genuinely motivated by knowing that our clients have a positive experience when working with us. The data from this survey helps us identify what services are working well or which may need changes, and we can then use this to further develop our services. It also feeds into the delivery of our five-year social impact strategy.
