Associate in the Property team
Sarah is an associate in our property team specialising in property charging for housing associations. With over seven years of experience in the social housing sector, both in-house and within firms, Sarah is an expert in property charging and gaining the best value for housing associations when charging their properties.
Before joining Anthony Collins, Sarah was an in-house commercial property solicitor for Bromford Housing Group. During this time she worked closely with the development and treasury teams to ensure the best value for new properties being charged to help streamline charging transactions. Sarah also supported clients with various charging exercises such as bonds, private placements, valuation uplifts, s106 agreements, mortgagee exclusion clauses and critical documents required for charging.
Sarah’s in-house experience has given her an excellent insight into the challenges housing associations face, particularly when it comes to charging properties, and how to develop solutions to ensure a more efficient charging process. As well as property charging, Sarah is an expert in various residential and commercial property matters relating to development, sales (right to buy, right to acquire, shared ownership and open market), commercial leases, boundaries, service charges and lettings.
