Rebecca Sembuuze

Rebecca Sembuuze works in the housing sector, advising landlords – primarily social housing providers and local authorities – on housing litigation.

Her work spans the full range of housing litigation, including possession claims (anti-social behaviour, trespass, accelerated, forfeiture of long residential and shared ownership leases), injunction claims, closure orders and money claims. She advises on Equality Act issues including defences, counterclaims and capacity matters, as well as building safety related access issues. Rebecca also provides client training and offers reviews and drafting of policy and procedure documents.

With a wealth of experience acting for registered providers and local authorities, Rebecca is dedicated to finding the most effective ways of helping landlords address anti-social behaviour and other tenancy or lease breaches.
