An associate in the projects team, Priya supports local authorities, housing associations, healthcare providers, charities, social businesses and other public sector clients.
Priya specialises in handling intricate legal matters related to construction, development, and affordable housing. She provides expert advice on drafting, reviewing and negotiating various construction and engineering contracts (JCT/NEC/PPC/FAC), pre-construction services agreements, professional appointments, letters of intent, collateral warranties, performance bonds and guarantees.
Additionally, she advises on procurement strategy under PCR 15, CCR 16 and PA 23, drafting and review of tender documents and offers guidance on contract modifications, frameworks, horizontal and vertical arrangements, land package deals and social value.
Priya holds dual qualifications as an advocate in India and a solicitor in England and Wales. She is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
