Preparing for STAIRs – Six months and counting
With STAIRs coming into force on 1 October 2026, Ben Pumphrey, the author of the sector-wide operational guidance for STAIRs, will share key lessons learnt from the national working party.

- What are the key actions for providers to best prepare for STAIRs?
- Under what circumstances will providers be able to withhold information?
- How will the ‘reasonableness’ test be applied and how should providers have due regard to FoI principles and risk of harm?
