Sophie is an associate in the property charging team and provides support on large-scale due diligence projects, including stock rationalisation exercises. She has over 10 years’ post-qualification experience advising on a broad range of property transactions, encompassing residential and commercial property as well as development matters.
Sophie also spent five years specialising exclusively in social housing conveyancing, advising on transactions such as right-to-buy sales, single-unit disposals, staircasing, deeds of variation, auction sales and bespoke one-off acquisitions.
Her breadth of experience across both property and social housing enables her to deliver clear, practical legal advice and to identify pragmatic solutions to complex issues arising in property charging and bulk due diligence matters.
Sophie is also a trustee of an Almshouse charity and is an ambassador for Women in Social Housing (WISH) Midlands
