Testimonials

I am passionate about placemaking and work closely with public sector clients to create sustainable, high-quality places where people can live, work, learn and thrive in the long term.

Raj is a legal director in the local government real estate team. She is an experienced property development lawyer who advises public sector clients on a broad range of property disposals, the redevelopment and/or regeneration of existing stock and longer-term strategic land projects.

Over the years, Raj has acted on large-scale redevelopment projects of key strategic regeneration sites, procuring development partners for housing regeneration, commercial development and mixed-use projects. Raj is a strong negotiator, securing favourable terms for clients on development agreements, conditional contracts, option agreements, building licences and infrastructure projects, including those linked to compulsory purchase.

Raj has a passion for placemaking, which is reflected in her work. She takes great pride in working with public sector clients to make a real difference to communities, by creating quality places that people want to live, work, play and learn in – where communities can thrive.
