Testimonials

I bring a strategic, detail-driven approach to property charging, helping housing clients maximise asset value, manage risk, and support long-term funding and growth objectives.

Partner in the firm, Julia leads the property charging department advising housing associations on a wide range of property finance matters.

With over 15 years’ experience in the housing sector, including time spent working in-house at a G15 housing association and acting for funders and security trustees, Julia brings a unique perspective to supporting housing associations with their charging needs.

Julia’s expert advice covers a range of funding arrangements and property transactions, including loan structuring, refinancing and mortgagee exclusion clauses. As well as undertaking health checks for pre-charging due diligence, asset and liability registers, and supporting stock rationalisation through bulk due diligence.

Known for her collaborative and practical approach, Julia works closely with clients to help them overcome challenges and meet their objectives. She regularly delivers workshops to help clients navigate requirements and risks with confidence.

Having worked previously with the firm from a client side, Julia values its social purpose ethos and works seamlessly with the wider funding team to deliver results.
