Testimonials

I help individuals, families and trustees navigate estate and trust administration with practical guidance and support at every stage of the process.

Gail is a solicitor in the personal planning team dealing with estate administration and trust administration.

She has more than 15 years experience in estate administration, dealing with a range of estate sizes, from small and simple to more complex cases.  Gail can assist with obtaining a Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration by preparing the necessary inheritance tax forms and probate forms for HMRC and the Probate Registry to allow the Executors and Administrators to deal with the estate. She also assists with every aspect of the administration of an estate from obtaining probate to liaising with estate agents to market and sell properties, assist with selling or transferring investments and shares, encashing bank/building society accounts and NS&I products and dealing with HMRC in relation to income received and gains realised during the estate administration period.

Gail also deals with trust administration which includes preparing trust accounts, liaising with beneficiaries, financial advisers and trustees, running trustee meetings and completing tax returns for the trusts.  She also assists our Court of Protection team by completing tax returns for their more vulnerable clients.

She qualified as a chartered legal executive through CILEx in July 2021 and cross-qualified to become a solicitor in September 2021.
