Testimonials

I’m passionate about helping charities govern themselves well and to get back on track where there have been errors made, in order to ensure that the public’s trust in charities, and the essential work that they do, continues

Catherine is a senior associate supporting charities of all structures and sizes in their governance and compliance with charity law and regulation.

A specialist in charity governance with over 10 years’ post-qualification experience, Catherine regularly advises on a range of issues concerning charities. These include the interpretation and amendment of governing documents, trustee duties and responsibilities, trading subsidiaries, governance reviews, mergers, group restructures and engaging with the Charity Commission on regulatory matters. Catherine is on the Charity Commission’s list of approved practitioners to be Interim Managers of charities and has been appointed to act in that capacity on a number of occasions.

Catherine also brings first-hand experience to bear in the advice she provides as an experienced trustee of both large and small charities.
