An associate in the personal planning team based in our Macclesfield office, Caroline is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She has ten years’ experience providing advice on wills and estate planning, lasting powers of attorney, probate applications, estate administration, intestacy rules and trusts. She has advised in relation to complex estate administration matters, for instance, where there is no will, cases where the deceased was non-UK domiciled, disagreements between executors or beneficiaries and where there is inheritance tax to pay.
Caroline is able to advise upon asset protection wills, particularly where there are complexities regarding issues such as inheritance tax, blended families, vulnerable beneficiaries and care fee planning.
She has assisted a wide range of individuals at various stages of their lives and takes the time to fully understand their requirements and family circumstances. Her approach is personable but always professional, ensuring that clients are provided with straightforward advice and practical solutions.
