Qualifying as a solicitor in 2014, Andrew joined the firm in 2015 and is a legal director and solicitor in the family and children’s law team, specialising in children’s law, public law and care proceedings. Known for his care and attention to detail, he regularly represents parents, extended family members and children in court proceedings, including when appointed by CAFCASS or a Children’s Guardian to act for a child or children.
In July 2019, Andrew became a member of the Law Society Children’s Panel, a recognised quality standard for practitioners representing children in children’s law and public law care proceedings.
Although this area of work can be challenging, Andrew supports his clients with empathy and understanding, using his legal expertise to achieve the best possible outcomes. His success has earned recognition in The Legal 500 for his ‘exceptional people skills’.
With more than 15 years’ experience in children’s and family law, Andrew represents clients in complex proceedings at all court levels. He is a member of a dedicated panel of solicitors regularly instructed by CAFCASS to represent children in public and private law matters, and he advises parents and extended family members in highly sensitive cases.
