My role

I am a commercial lawyer at Anthony Collins Solicitors, leading on the provision of company and commercial advice to our clients across all sectors including education, housing, local government, charities and social business.

My experience

I qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and spent four years in private practice dealing with company and commercial, corporate M&A and corporate finance matters. I subsequently spent 12 years as an in-house lawyer at Birmingham City Council, providing commercial, procurement and governance advice in relation to major projects and contracts, followed by three years as head of legal for a local authority wholly-owned company.
