Solicitor in the governance and commercial team
I am a solicitor in the governance and commercial department and assist on a wide range of commercial matters. I provide support to private, public and third-sector organisations on drafting and reviewing commercial contracts.
I began my career at Anthony Collins Solicitors as a legal assistant in our construction team before going on to complete my training contract and qualifying as a solicitor in September 2020. During my training, I have gained experience in housing corporate services, corporate litigation, general commercial and employment.
On 8 December 2021, the Competition and Markets Authority (the CMA) published its revised consumer law advice for care home providers (Guidance).
Cases involving large-scale IT contracts are quite rare and the recent case provides a useful judgement for matters involving digital transformation projects which have gone wrong.
On 18 September 2020, the High Court gave its decision regarding the Judicial Review of Simply Learning Tutor Agency Ltd & Others v Secretary of State for Business.
Throughout this pandemic, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has been publishing various “Statements on Coronavirus” (Statements) which provide guidance on consumer rights during this time.
