My role

I am an Executive Case Worker in the Court of Protection Team.  I fulfil a vital role in the Personal Planning and Management Team, supporting the deputies and our clients in the financial aspects of their day-to-day lives.  I act as the “voice” to a client with limited communication but living independently in the community.  I deal with arranging payments, sorting out things from leaking pipes to broken appliances so that clients can continue with their lives with limited disruption and inconvenience.  For clients living independently in the community and their families, a good working relationship with me as their case worker is key to establishing routine in their lives.

My experience

I have been working in the Court of Protection field for the last 13 years, developing relationships to help clients live independently in the community.
