Catherine Henry

Trainee solicitor

Trainee Solicitor in the corporate litigation department

My role

I am a second-year trainee solicitor within our corporate litigation department where I assist with a wide range of disputes and work across the regulatory, housing, commercial and property litigation teams.

My experience

I completed my first-year training seats within our contentious construction and personal planning and management teams.

In the contentious construction department, I assisted with a variety of construction disputes, procurement challenges and adjudications.

In our personal planning and management team, I worked with private clients and professional deputies on a variety of matters. I assisted with cases involving the court of protection, deputyships and deprivation of liberty orders. I was also involved in estate administration and the preparation of lasting powers of attorneys, wills, codicils and trusts.

I have previous experience in corporate litigation and have been involved in cases involving debt recovery, leaseholder service charges and major work arrears, housing possession, injunctions, anti-social behaviour and disrepair. In this role, I worked with clients from across our social housing, education and social care sectors.
