My role

During my time as a Trainee Solicitor I will complete four six-month-long ‘seats’ in different departments. This will allow me to actively develop essential skills, and to engage with diverse legal practice areas, to ensure that I am ready to qualify at the end of two years. I am currently completing my first seat in the Local Government Team.

My experience

I completed an English Literature and History degree at the University of Birmingham before converting to Law as a postgraduate student. Whilst completing my legal studies I worked as a Commercial Officer at Rolls-Royce plc. Following this, in August, I started at Anthony Collins Solicitors as a paralegal in the PPM Team before beginning my training contract.
