My role
I advise and represent the firm’s clients, across a number of sectors, in relation to action taken by their sector specific regulators, including the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH); and regulators more generally including local authorities and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). I also provide proactive advice to clients on regulatory compliance.
My experience
I qualified as a solicitor in 2001 but have 30 years’ experience in criminal and regulatory investigations and proceedings. Although I spent four years prosecuting cases as an agent for the HSE, I have focussed and specialised in the defence of individuals and organisations across sectors, including in many complex and high-profile cases and cases with a significant public interest.
