We are delighted to be back at Greenbelt (23-26 August) for the third year running!
Greenbelt Festival 2019 - The Exchange
Once again we are hosting The Exchange, in partnership this year with Central England Co-operative, Traidcraft, Resonance and CMS.
The Exchange is where we explore how business needs to be different; how private profit must come second to social justice; how social businesses pursue the common good, not private gain; and how it is essential that we play OUR part in radical change.
We feel completely at home at Greenbelt because we are a specialist law firm with a clear purpose to “improve lives, communities and society". Our work is underpinned by our commitment to a strong set of values, which affects who we work with and how we operate both as an employer, and a provider of legal services.
How can we help you?

Can brilliant people be lawyers and contribute to a better society?
We're extremely proud of the calibre of people we attract to our office in Birmingham; people who are inspired by our values and motivated by our vision. To extend the opportunity for such people to work for us, we opened a Manchester office earlier this year to increase our opportunity to provide services to businesses in the North West. We work with our clients to positively influence the society and communities we are building together. If you want to find out more about working here, take a look at our careers pages.
We have produced a comprehensive booklet on 'Co-operation for the common good', where we argue that co-operatives are enterprise for the common good, in contrast to investor-owned businesses that trade for private benefit. An electronic version is available to read here.
You can read our first Greenbelt blog, 'Accepting responsibility for generational justice', here.
You can read our second Greenbelt blog, 'Enterprise, empire and ego: the road to extinction?', here.
