New procurement cases appear every month, and the cabinet office issues new procurement policy notes regularly so it is important for procurement professionals to keep up to date. Many are wondering what will happen to the public procurement rules post-Brexit. While the short term position is fairly clear for both “deal” and “no deal” scenarios, the longer-term implications are still a matter for speculation. Join us in this joint event with the CIPS West Midlands branch to hear about the latest case law and the immediate and potential longer-term implications of Brexit for the public procurement rules.

Whats is about?

As well as covering Brexit, the content of this half-day seminar will be determined by recent cases and topical issues. We will look at the immediate and longer-term implications of Brexit for procurement, and are likely to cover some or all of the following:

  • Below threshold” contracts and the “misleading” PPN from Crown Commercial Service
  • PAS91 and the SSQ Selection, including relevant case law
  • Latest cases on award criteria and the evaluation process; and
  • Checklist on using buying club frameworks
