The workshop will include:
- Examples of successful and sustained cost reductions and better services achieved with client associations (examples including Plymouth Community Homes, Nottingham Community Housing Associations and Watford Community Housing Trust)
- Discussion of the changed leadership model required of senior executives to move towards the lean organisation – and the challenges for the individuals
- What a lean organisation will look like – and the obstacles that need to be removed along the way.
Participants will work through some specific case studies to learn how lean thinking can powerfully transform their association.
The workshop will be led by Andrew Schofield and Peter Jones of The Lean Partnership. Andrew has a profound knowledge of Lean Thinking and has worked extensively with housing associations over the last 10 years. Peter is a former Vice Chair at Watford, leader of change projects and interim HR Director in other sectors.
Registration and coffee will be from 9.30am with a 10am start. Due to the participatory nature of the event, places are limited so will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
