Who is the workshop aimed at?
This half day workshop hosted by Anthony Collins Solicitors and presented by Big Issue Invest and Unity Trust Bank is aimed at organisations that are socially driven and make a difference to people’s health, care & well-being looking to grow and expand their business and need access to loan finance (£50k to £10m) through alternatives from their high street bank.
The workshop is designed to:
- Assist in supporting those who are considering applying for finance to consider social finance providers like Big Issue Invest and Unity Trust Bank and what packages of support are available from such finance providers;
- Provide information on what you need to know and why, what is expected of you and your organisation;
- Provide an opportunity to hear from individuals and organisations that have received funding from Big Issue Invest and Unity Trust Bank, share their experiences of raising similar finance as well as an opportunity to network with those in similar stages of development and growth.
The workshop will be interactive and will allow plenty of opportunities for questions.

Attendees will include finance directors, business development managers from residential and domiciliary care providers, housing associations, charities and social enterprises.
