The Lex 100’s annual trainee survey is the most comprehensive assessment of law firm training contracts in the UK, and Anthony Collins Solicitors is a pleased to be announced as a Lex 100 Winner for 2016/17, with success in the following categories:
- Job satisfaction
- Client contact
- Low stress levels
- Work/life balance
- Diversity
Trainees who complete the survey answer questions on a variety of areas and are asked for a lowdown on the firm in their own words. The firm’s values and aim of improving lives, communities and societies came across strongly in the responses, with comments about why trainees chose the firm over others including:
“The culture of the firm”, “to work alongside people who wanted to make a difference and not just churn out numbers” and “the desire to go the extra mile for the all of its clients”.
The best thing about the firm included “The firm’s ethos and purpose in working for organisations such as charities and third-sector clients” and “the ability to work with clients who are passionate about what they do”.
The firm encourages trainees to get involved in real cases and to contribute where they can add value to client matters, which was demonstrated in the comment “Being given the opportunity to attend a panel interview for a legal-services tender with two partners and playing an active role in the delivery of the presentation”.
Full details of Anthony Collins Solicitor’s results can be found on the firm’s microsite, whilst the rest of the 2016/17 results are available at www.lex100.com.
