Please note, this event will be hosted online via Zoom.
Social mobility is a justice issue, all about promoting opportunity for anyone from any background. Over the last year, we have been involved in conversations about how to help people from the widest range of backgrounds access the labour market. We now want to share that thinking with you at this event.
We are delighted that Jess Phillips MP will be opening this session, with a range of speakers including Darren Burns, the national recruitment manager at Timpsons – now the largest employer of offenders and ex-offenders in the UK and Stephanie Burras, CEO at Ahead Partnership.
At this event, we will be launching our social mobility toolkit containing practical resources for employers who want to implement positive measures to open up their workforce. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of Central England Co-operative and Boston Borough Council, this will be available to download for free.
If you’re an employer, and you want to be inspired, encouraged and informed about improving social mobility in your organisation, this event is for you!
