Equality, diversity and inclusivity and the Equality Act 2010
Course outline – Equality, diversity and inclusivity and the Equality Act 2010

The purpose of this training is to equip attendees with the necessary knowledge and understanding of the legal and practical meaning of equality, diversity and inclusivity (ED&I) within a workplace.
This one-day session takes delegates initially through the current legislation underpinning ED&I and its implications for their organisation. From there, we will cover how this legislation is applied and its role in setting a culture where ED&I play a key role. Attendees will learn to recognise behaviours and patterns that are contrary both to the legislation and to a diverse and inclusive culture and how to respond.
The details and extent of the training will be tailored to your needs; certain protected characteristics or types of discrimination areas can be addressed in more detail if required. The session will include practical case studies which can also be tailored to your specific needs.
