Details:
Tony acts for clients on cases across all areas of medical negligence as well as personal injury litigation. He has particular experience in cases concerning orthopaedics, brain damage, cancer misdiagnosis, obstetrics and GP negligence, while he is also an expert in medical ethics claims. Chambers UK recently commended him as an 'excellent, careful lawyer.'
He has wealth of medical ethics claims expertise, including refusal of consent to treatment and also acts in community care cases involving funding of care by local authorities and/or Primary Care Trusts. He acts for both legally aided and privately funded claimants under conditional fee agreements.
Tony is highly commended by Legal 500 as 'unflappable' and runs an 'efficient department'.
Biography:
He is a homegroup leader in his local church, and in his spare time (when not providing a taxi service for his two daughters!) Tony enjoys cycling, attending the theatre and indoor rowing.

Tony is a member of the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury Panels, the Birmingham Medico-Legal Society, and the Clinical Negligence Special Interest Group of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He is also a member of the Birmingham Law Society.
He is the Referral Panel Solicitor for the Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA) Panel, and Clinical Negligence Specialist Member of the Legal Services Committee.
Tony is regularly invited to speak nationally on a range of topics concerning medicine and the law.
