Why do schools, academies, multi-academy trusts (MATs) and dioceses need legal support?
Legal claims and disputes cost money. They can also eat up valuable time and resources that could be used much more effectively within your academy, school, multi-academy trust or diocese. Worse still if something goes wrong on the legal front your school could be front page news for all the wrong reasons.

How much does Edu-Law cost?
We offer two levels of packages, which we can discuss with you in advance.
Lots of legal issues to address?
For academies or multi-academy trusts that are likely to have more legal issues to address, we offer an initial twelve months subscription to Edu-Law, which costs £2,500 (plus VAT and disbursements). This enables you to access up to fifteen hours advice from our specialist education lawyers.
Less legal issues to address?
For academies or multi-academy trusts that are likely to have less legal issues to address we offer an initial twelve months subscription to Edu-Law, which costs £1,250 (plus VAT and disbursements). This enables you to access up to seven and a half hours from our specialist education lawyers.
What happens if we require further support, in addition to the hours specified above?
We will always seek to offer you a bespoke solution to your legal query. You will never be charged anything additional unless you have agreed to the costs. If you do ask us to carry out additional work beyond that covered by the Edu-Law package we will discuss and agree a separate charge with you.
